More Information and Instructions

The information posted in this site was provided to JAC by the due process vendors. It is accumulated from the current fiscal year due process contracts.

The vendors listed on this website are the ones who selected their information be posted via their Addendum A of the Contract For Due Process Services (Other Than Attorney Fees).

Vendor information will continue to be posted for the previous fiscal year until 9/30. The vendor’s information will remain posted on this website provided a new due process contract has been executed with JAC. If no new fiscal year contract has been executed by the vendor, their information will no longer be posted effective 10/1. Therefore, from 7/1 through 9/30 vendors found in this database may not have a current contract.

The listing of a vendor in this database does not mean that JAC recommends, endorses or authorizes the retention of any vendor listed herein. The information in this database is offered for informational purposes only. An attorney seeking to retain a vendor’s services must comply with the requirements of Florida law, JAC Contract, and JAC Policies and Procedures. A vendor’s inclusion in this database does not constitute a waiver of JAC’s right to object to appointment of the vendor including any objection to rates in excess of the rates established by law. It is the attorney’s responsibility to make diligent efforts to obtain services at the rates established by law.

Unless JAC has expressly waived its right to a hearing, JAC must be served with a copy of a written motion and notice of hearing prior to a court entering an order regarding any motion for attorney’s fees, costs, or related expenses. Thus, counsel shall not seek to obtain a court order prior to obtaining a response from JAC. A copy of the motion must be served on JAC a minimum of five business days prior to the date of the hearing on the motion.Use of Out-of-State vendors must be specifically addressed in the motion and court order.
